Jayme Lee Oman
ESCANABA, Mich. — On Feb. 5, 2018, Jayme Lee Oman, 32, went to be with the Lord. May his tender heart and troubled mind find peace in death that couldn’t be found in life. He was born in Escanaba, Mich., on Sept. 14, 1985, to Jeffrey Oman and Katherine Farrell.
Jayme was raised in the Gladstone area and attended school there. He recently moved back to the area from Louisiana.
He had a quick smile, was a loyal friend and had a strong sense of faith and family. He loved his Grandma Elaine’s cooking, and often asked for her recipes so he could learn to make them when he was in Louisiana.
Jayme will be deeply missed by those close to him. Although he struggled to believe it, Jayme had a lot of people who loved and prayed for him.
He is survived by his father, Jeff; brother, Josh Oman, and sister Mikayla Mathias. He is further survived by his paternal grandmother, Elaine (Lachance) Oman; aunts, Lee Anne Oman, Escanaba, and Sandy (Ed) Wilson, Gladstone; uncles, Bruce (Tina) Oman, Menominee, Michael (Debra) Farrell and Brian (Sue) Farrell of Escanaba; as well as cousins Stephen Oman, Laura (Paul) St. Louis, Emily Oman, Jenny (Bryan) Miller, Morgan Wilson, Marshall Wilson, Amanda Farrell, Meghan Farrell, Sommer (Russell) Watson, Alex Reilly and Starla (Aaron) Anderson.
