William ‘Will’ Kinney

ESCANABA — William “Will” Kinney, 93, passed away Wednesday evening, Nov. 29, 2017, at his home in Escanaba.

Will was born Sept. 5, 1924, in Salem, Va., the son of Claude and Eva (Nutter) Kinney. Will served in the United States Navy until his retirement following 20 years of dedicated service to his country. He then went to work for General Motors Company where he was employed for an additional 20 years. Will was a life member of the VFW. He also belonged to the Gladstone American Legion August Mattson Post 71 and the Escanaba Eagles Club. Will is survived by his loving friend of many years, Barbara Miller and niece, Robin Rogers, and will be deeply missed by those he loved and considered to be part of his family.

Visitation will take place on Friday, Dec. 8, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Military rites conducted by the Gladstone American Legion August Mattson Post 71 and closing prayers will be offered at 5 p.m., also at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.
