People line the midway during Preview Night at the Upper Peninsula State Fair in Escanaba Monday evening. Gates opened at 5 p.m. and offered fairgoers a reduced admission rate for the first day of the week-long event. Along with reduced rates, Preview Night gave fairgoers a glimpse into the food, vendors, rides, games, live animal displays, and other activities that will continue throughout the fair.
