Tom Rymkos, of Escanaba, purchases a brat from Community Action volunteer Maria Maniaci Thursday afternoon during the agency’s annual Big Brat Sale. The sale helped support Walk For Warmth, a fundraising campaign through the Menominee-Delta-Schoolcraft Community Action Agency that raises funds to help needy residents pay their heating costs. A total of 1,650 bratwursts were sold and more than $3,700 was raised. Walk For Warmth will take place on Saturday, Feb. 25. In Escanaba, the walk will begin at 10 a.m. at the Elks Lodge on Ludington Street. For additional information or to make a donation, contact Cathy Pearson at 786-7080.
