Traffic stop leads to meth arrest
FLAT ROCK — A traffic stop lead to the arrest of a Gwinn man on drug charges Monday, according to the Delta County Sheriff’s Office Monday.
David Thompson, 25, of Gwinn, was arrested for possession of meth after deputies stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation in the Flat Rock area.
According to a press release, deputies stopped the vehicle at around 10:50 p.m. on Feb. 11. After further investigation and with the assistance of K-9 Jet, Thompson was arrested.
Thompson was arraigned in 94th District Court and his bond was set at $50,000.
Charges are pending on other occupants of the vehicle. Deputies were assisted by the Michigan State Police.
