ESCANABA — The Bay College student Drama Club was rejuvenated this past winter semester with a focus on theatrical workshops, theater trips and a small production. The efforts were coordinated by Erica Mead, in conjunction with efforts led byre-energizes theater program community theater advocate Jamie Peterson.

The energy is continuing this fall with the recent addition of Brittany Welch to coordinate and lead the student theater program. She brings a wealth of experience to the program. She has been the creative director at the Children’s Theater of Theater on the Bay, located on the UW Marinette campus for the past three years, as well as involved in all aspects of adult theater for the past six years. She has an associate’s degree in arts and is currently working on towards a bachelor’s degree in music education with a minor in theater.
