ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.
Daniel Joseph Heinz, 30, of 2219 Magnolia Lane, Green Bay, Wis., was bound over to circuit court on the following three counts: controlled substance – delivery/manufacture – meth, a 20-year felony with a maximum fine of $25,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison; weapons – carrying concealed, a felony punishable by five years or $2,500 along with mandatory forfeiture of weapon; and weapons – felony firearm, a two-year felony with mandatory forfeiture of weapon to be served consecutively with and preceding any term of imprisonment imposed for the felony or attempted felony conviction. The charges stem from an incident which occurred on or about July 16, 2018 in Wells Township. Cash/surety bond was set at $175,000.
Riley Ethan Meserve, 22, of 1909 8th Ave. S., Escanaba, was bound over to circuit court on three counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000.
The charges stem from an incident which occurred on or about July 6, 2018 in Escanaba. Meserve posted a bond set at 10 percent of $1,000.
