BARK RIVER — The U.P. Labor-Management Council, Inc. has selected the Highland Golf Course, Escanaba, as the host site for its Annual Golf Outing. The annual four-person scramble has been scheduled for Friday, Aug. 3. The shotgun start will begin at 9 a.m. Entry fee includes golf (18 holes), cart, continental breakfast, lunch, beverages and prizes. A $10,000 cash prize for a hole-in-one on a target par three hole is once again being offered this year. Complimentary auxiliary prizes are also being awarded for hole -in -ones on any of the non-target par three holes. The council encourages a mix of labor and management on each time.
