Event focuses on Master Gardener Program

ESCANABA — The “Growing the Extension Master Gardener Program in the Upper Peninsula” presentation and recognition/potluck event will be offered by Michigan State University Extension. The program is Wednesday, March 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Delta County State University Extension Office, Conference room, 2840 College Ave., Escanaba. The presentation will include information about the Extension Master Gardener Program, accomplishments of the many EMG volunteers, and what is happening currently and in the future. Following will be recognition of those EMG volunteers who have reached milestones in hours volunteered, those who have recently earned EMG status, and Advanced EMG status. This is a free event and open to anyone interested in learning more about the Extension Master Gardener program.
