Escanaba council looks at road funding
ESCANABA — During a work session scheduled for this morning, Escanaba City Council met at city hall to discuss potential road funding options.
During council’s regular board meeting set for 7 p.m. Thursday at city hall, council will consider bids for leak detection work and fire hydrant painting for the water department and a bid to replace the roof at the digester building at the wastewater plant.
Additional agenda items include closing out a facade grant, upgrading a part-time administrative secretary to full-time, and conducting a public hearing on the upcoming fiscal year budget. Council is also scheduled to meet in closed session Thursday to discuss labor negotiations with the city attorney.
