AARP offers tax assistance at Escanaba Public Library

ESCANABA — AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service, and is celebrating its’ 50th year. The program offers free tax preparation help to anyone, especially those who are 50 or older and are of low to middle income. Membership in AARP is not required.

Services are provided locally at the Escanaba Public Library. Call the library at 906-789-7323 to register, and you will be contacted to set up an appointment during February or March. A list of items you must bring to have your tax return prepared is available at the library. This is the 13th year that AARP Tax-Aide and the library have worked together.
