Hospital auxiliary starts Lights of Love campaign
ESCANABA — The OSF St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary has kicked off its annual “Lights of Love” campaign. For a fee, people can purchase a light in recognition of a friend or loved one.
Envelopes to purchase Lights of Love are available at OSF HealthCare St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group gift shop and front desk and online at osfstfrancis.org/gift. Funds raised are used to support the needs of patients.
“This is a wonderful way for people to remember or honor a friend or loved one during the holiday season,” said Jean Arvan, director of philanthropy at OSF St. Francis. “Each year we receive requests for thousands of lights.”
Lights are hung on the hospital Christmas trees along US 2 & 41. Trees will be lit and shining throughout the Christmas season. The campaign continues through December.
Visit osfstfrancis.org/gift for additional “Lights of Love” forms and information about the publication of names of those honored with a light or contact Jean Arvan at 786-5707, ext. 5516 for more information.
