Creten fund buys student resources

ESCANABA — Thanks to funding from the Mary Creten Bay College Library-Science Fund, the Bay College Library has been able to add permanent ownership to four new databases for its students. The Library now has access to a primary source bundle pack from Gale Cengage, which provides access for students to 19th Century U.S. Newspapers, Slavery and Anti-Slavery: A Transnational Archive, Times (London) Digital Archive, 1785-2011 with an annual supplement, and Indigenous Peoples: North America permanently. With the addition of these extensive resources the Bay College Library can provide the community, students, staff and faculty with access to quality primary source resources to complete their courses.

The Bay College Library is open to all citizens of Delta County, students, staff and faculty of Bay College. The Library can be contacted by telephone at 906-217-2055, by email at libraryhelp@baycollege.edu and through its website at http://library.baycollege.edu.

It is open throughout the school year, Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
