Community Foundation accepting grant requests
ESCANABA — The Community Foundation of the Upper Peninsula is accepting Michigan Health Endowment Fund grant applications for its June 28 grants round for mental health related programs. Eligible non-profit organizations and sub-divisions of government are eligible to submit applications to the community foundation for grants.
Requests up to $10,000 for eligible programs will be considered.
Grant applications can be obtained at the community foundation office at 2420 1st Ave. S., Suite 101, Escanaba, Mich., or by calling the foundation’s office at 1-906-786-6654, e-mail at Office@cfup.org or from the foundation’s website at www.cfup.org.
Completed grant applications and requirement specified must be returned to the community foundation office by 4 p.m. on Monday, June 19.
All those requesting grants from the foundation will be notified in writing, as to whether or not they have been successful in receiving their grant request. Members of the foundation’s grants committee will make their grant recommendations to the full board of trustees of the foundation at their regularly scheduled board meeting of July 25 for their approval.
