U of M glee club to perform in Escanaba

ESCANABA — The University of Michigan Men’s Glee Club, under the direction of Dr. Eugene Rogers, will be in concert on Friday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m. in Escanaba. The Glee Club, which is the oldest student organization on U of M’s campus, is celebrating the university’s bicentennial by traveling throughout the state on the first part of their spring tour.

Three men from the U.P. are members: Corey Miles of Marquette, and Tom Wilson and Mark Lynch of Escanaba. The concert will be held at the William Oliver auditorium in the Escanaba Upper Elementary School, 1500 Ludington St.

General admission tickets are $10 each, and are available at Positively! the Center for Success, 1212 Ludington St., Escanaba, and at the door.

This event is hosted by Spotlights, a non-profit group supporting the Performing Arts in the Escanaba Area Schools.
