Cases sent to circuit court
ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.
James Ira Maki, 53, of 601 Dakota Ave., Gladstone, was bound over on one count of failure to file an income tax return, a five-year felony with a maximum fine of $5,000. The charge stems from incidents from Jan. 10, 2014, to Sept. 14, 2014, in Escanaba. A personal recognizance bond was set at $1,000.
Ellianna Rae Larson, 19, of W405 Casino Lane, No. 37, Wilson, was bound over on one count of assaulting/ resisting/ obstructing a police officer which carries a maximum imprisonment of two years and a $2,000 fine. The charge stems from on incident on March 17, 2017, in Escanaba involving a Delta County sheriff’s deputy. Bond was set at $2,500.
Kelley Liane Hansen, 24, of 1300 2nd Ave., N., Escanaba, was bound over on three counts of illegal sale/use of a financial transaction device, each a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $5,000. The charges stem from incidents from Dec. 10-11, 2016 in Escanaba. Cash bond was set at $10,000.
Jamie Lee Rose, 38, of 823 2nd Ave. S., No. 6, Escanaba, was bound over on the following charges: one count of stealing/retaining a financial transaction device without consent; and three counts of illegal sale/use of a financial transaction device. Each felony carries a maximum punishment of four years in prison and a $5,000 fine. The charges stem from incidents in Escanaba on Dec. 10-11, 2016. Cash bond was set at $10,000.
Dates will be set in circuit court for the above individuals to make a plea or schedule a trial.
