Digital photography workshop offered
ESCANABA — Bay College’s Training and Development (M-TEC) division is offering their Basic Digital Photography workshop beginning April 4. This workshop is designed for owners of a DSLR camera or a camera that has the capability of manual, aperture and/or shutter modes.
The hands-on workshop, taught by Scott Peterson, is designed for individuals interested in maximizing the power of their camera. Participants will learn about camera menu options, and how each feature can be better utilized and gain a better understanding of the processes that will add enhancement to quality photography. In addition to classroom work, two outdoor photo shoots are scheduled. Plus, the workshop will introduce the user to basic imaging software — a must have for editing photos.
Participants will meet every Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. from April 4 through 25 at the M-TEC and on Saturdays, April 15 and 22 for the outdoor shoots. Cost is $179 per person. Bring your camera and camera manual to class. Registration deadline is March 28 and class size is limited to 12 students.
