ESCANABA — Two Gladstone males arrested in connection with a vehicle reported stolen from Escanaba were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court where they may make a plea or schedule a trial.

Kyle Walter McDaniel, 20, of 114 Court St., Gladstone, and Thomas Andrew Harris, 19, of 901 Minnesota Ave., No. 102, Gladstone, are each charged with one count of unlawfully driving away an auto, a five-year felony, in connection with the theft of a car from the 700 block of 1st Avenue South on Dec. 23, 2016.

The two suspects were located in Marquette with the car after the vehicle was reported stolen, according to Escanaba Public Safety.

McDaniel and Harris remain lodged in the county jail each in lieu of a $75,000 cash or surety bond. They have been ordered by the court to have no contact with one another or the victim.
