mBank donates computers to school

MANISTIQUE – Computers were recently donated to St. Francis de Sales School by mBank in Manistique. These computers will support classroom instruction well into the future.

Don Erickson, principal at St. Francis expressed his gratitude for the donation. “I cannot thank Kelly (George) and Mike (Hoar) enough for even thinking about us. These computers will allow us to update our classroom computers that are out of date. These computers were badly needed and couldn’t have come at a better time.”

Laurie McKinney, second and third grade teacher, added, “We are thrilled to have these new computers in our classrooms! Thank you mBank for your continued community support.”

According to the bank’s website, “mBank is proud of its 80 plus year history of being a proactive community bank based in the Upper Peninsula and serving the needs of all our communities by providing high quality products and services through friendly and knowledgeable local bankers.
