Wozny named mBank assistant VP
MANISTIQUE — mBank announces the recent promotion of Eric Wozny from a management trainee to AVP-commercial banking officer, located in Niagara, Wis., effective immediately.
Wozny started with mBank in early 2014 within the company’s Management Trainee Program part-time while concurrently earning his bachelor degree from Northern Michigan University’s College of Business in accounting. After graduating in May of 2015, he was promoted to an assistant branch manager as part of the program for the Marquette Branch. In this position, he was responsible for the overall supervision of the branch and its daily operations and transitioned into the role of commercial credit analyst. In this role, he was responsible for credit analysis and underwriting of commercial loan transactions and working closely with the commercial lenders on portfolio management and client relations. Wozny will now be relocating to the Niagara Wisconsin Branch, following completion of his training program, to oversee commercial lending in this market.
Wozny is an active member in his community, especially with the Marquette Senior Men’s Hockey League. He has also volunteered and has been a part of local fundraising for organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Walt Kyle Mile, Bay Cliff Health Camp and Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter (UPAWS). He also enjoys boating, fishing and helping support local charitable golf outings.
