Dane and Brittany Casperson

GRAND RAPIDS — Brittany Marie Bruce and Dane Oliver Casperson were married on Aug. 19. Brittany is the daughter of Tracy and Jamie Bruce of Escanaba. Dane is the son of Tom and Diane Casperson also of Escanaba. The ceremony was held at New Life Assembly of God in Escanaba and officiated by Pastor Scott Breault. The reception was held at the Island Resort and Casino in Harris.

The new bride and groom were accompanied by their bridal party: Ashley Cook and Tom Casperson held the titles of maid of honor and best man. Bridesmaids included Nicole Bruce, Jami Sharrow, Anna Burch, and Kelsey Motto. The groomsman included Storm Fournier, Chris Charbonneau, Blake Hereau, and Cameron Beversluis. Niece of the groom, Oaklyn Wakefield, was the flower girl and cousin of the bride, Michael Caron, was the ring bearer.

The new couple currently resides in Grand Rapids, while Dane attends school at Ferris State University and Brittany studies at Grand Valley State University.
