Rose finishes basic training
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — U.S. Air Force Airman Christopher C. Rose, a 2015 graduate of Escanaba Public High School, graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas recently.
The airman completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Rose is the son of David Rose of Escanaba, step-son of Krista Rose of Escanaba and Karen Rose of Escanaba, brother of Michael Rose of Escanaba, grandson of Michael and Lynne Clark of Rapid River, and nephew of Melissa and Kevin Schimke of Rapid River.
