Remember when?

Gene Watson Gallery The 1972 Winter Carnival, sponsored by the Gladstone Ski Club, drew a record number of 89 entries for the two days of events. Thirty-six boys and girls, age 10 and under, raced in the downhill competition, the largest category. A special “first time award” was given to Mr. and Mrs. Tom McDermott from the Ski Club in recognition of their volunteer service with the club. The McDermotts had watched the Kiddie Tow every weekend since the late 1960s.
