Warm Coats from Warm Hearts continues

ESCANABA — The Warm Coats from Warm Hearts Campaign sponsored by the Business Professionals of America (BPA) club at Bay College will continue until Dec. 17. This campaign allows people in the community the opportunity to fill donation boxes at major outlets as well as Bay College with a warm, gently-used coat for those in need. All donations go to the Salvation Army and the Tri-County Safe Harbor women’s shelter.

In the past, the club helped garner hundreds of donated coats and it asks the community to continue to do the same this year. This decision as a club to assist local community members in need is an honor for all involved.

While donations of coats are being sought, all winter clothing will be accepted.

Business Professionals of America is a student organization with a local presence in Bay College’s Joseph Heirman University Center. It has provided Delta County members with opportunities for growth through education, competition, community service, and personal development. To get involved in the local chapter of Business Professionals of America, contact the club President Maia Roll at maia.roll@baycollege.edu.
