Samuel Austin Pouliot

MARQUETTE — Samuel Austin Pouliot, 23, of Gladstone, graduated with academic honors from Northern Michigan University Police Academy on Aug. 21. He earned the “most physically fit recruit award” in his graduating class. He received an associate’s degree from Grand Rapids Community College and also earned credits through Ferris State University. He is a 2014 graduate of Gladstone High School.

Pouliot will begin his career at Escanaba Public Safety this month.

Pouliot is the son of William and Greta Pouliot. He is married to the former Haley Martineau of Escanaba. She is currently finishing her degree at Ferris State University in dental hygiene.
