Home, wildflower tour on Garden Peninsula

GARDEN — Once again the Village Artisans of Garden will feature a home tour and salad luncheon on Saturday, July 21. These luncheons and tours have been a popular fundraiser for fifteen years. The proceeds are used to support the Artisans’ many art enrichment programs for the community — especially children.

This year’s tour will feature a new home on the south side of Garden Bay, just outside the village. It will then proceed to the east side of the peninsula with three homes on Kregg’s Bay. The tour will end at Portage Bay Campground where a tent will be set up and volunteers will welcome guests with information on the many wildflowers growing in this little-known “gem” in Delta County.

Plan to spend a day on the Garden Peninsula with family and friends enjoying a delicious luncheon served at the St. John Parish Hall. Add in a tour of homes on the water and complete the day with a nature stroll among beautiful wildflowers.

Tour/luncheon tickets may be purchased at the Village Artisans/Garden Gallery in Garden, Michigan.
