GLADSTONE — Flips Gymnastics performed its exhibition on June 9 in the Gladstone High School gym. Classes performing included: preschool, boys, beginner 1, beginner 2, intermediate, and advanced/USAG Team.

The preschool class did a routine including 10 USAG elements to the “Croods” soundtrack. The beginners through advanced classes performed USAG floor routines for levels 1-5 in addition to original, choreographed routines to songs including “Bare Necessities” and “300 Violins.” Students presented skills and routines on the balance beam, vault, and obstacle courses.

Flips Gymnastics was reopened in December of 2017 by Rachael Wagner. The business is now located at 116 N. 9th Street, Suite C in Gladstone. It was previously owned by Jessica (Anderson) Eden from 2005-2014 and was previously located in the Rialto Center. Eden was proud to bring Flips Gymnastics to Gladstone, giving athletes opportunities to have fun while staying fit and tumbling safely. Wagner will continue the tradition with USAG safety certification and experience.

Flips has coaches gifted in yoga, dance, martial arts, competitive cheer, and gymnastics. Jennifer Davenport, Savanna Trottier, Courtney Boyle, Heather Bergstrom, and Wagner offer coaching, conditioning, and teach team sportsmanship. Students can enroll for summer camp sessions or the fall school-year program.

Flips offers classes for gymnasts from age three through high school in recreational or competitive gymnastics. It is a USAG-certified gym.
