Track and field drive raises food for Salvation Army food bank

Courtesy Photo Thursday, May 10, the Rapid River Key Club held a Food Drive during the Rapid River Invitational Track and Field meet. The athletes, coaches, and fans from 12 schools were encouraged to bring in non-perishable food items and the school making the largest donation won a trophy for being the most generous. Big Bay de Noc was the winning school. Above, the Big Bay de Noc track team poses with their trophy. The Rapid River Key Club would like to thank everyone who contributed. In total the schools donated over 350 items to the Salvation Army food bank.
