MARQUETTE — On Saturday, April 14, 48 Escanaba students attended the 9th Annual NMU Math Competition. The event involves competing as a four person team with individual, group and relay math questions.
Escanaba placed five teams in the top 10. This included a 2nd place win by the Number Ninjas team, which consists of Luke LaFave, Michael Kaven, Rushil Kasetty and Christer Carne.
In addition, Kasetty took home 1st place in the individual portion of the competition.
