Foster Grandparents to hold in-service Feb. 13
ESCANABA — The Delta County Foster Grandparent Program will be having an in-service meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Delta Plaze Mall food court, located at 301 N. Lincoln Road in Escanaba.
Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.
The Foster Grandparent Program is administered by MDS Community Action Agency, located at 507 First Avenue North in Escanaba.

Happy Tails Story Hour set for tomorrow
ESCANABA –The Delta Animal Shelter in Escanaba will be hosting a Happy Tails Story Time for kids ages 3-5 years old on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
The story time is held the first Saturday of the month. There will be animal related stories, followed by activities and an opportunity to meet some animal guest. There is no fee for this program, but each participant is asked to bring an item from the shelter’s wish list to help care for the shelter’s animals.
AAUW to see Players de Noc musical Sunday
ESCANABA — The Escanaba branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will be showing its support for Players de Noc by attending the matinee of the musical “Curtains” on Sunday, Feb. 4. Members should call 420-3083 if they plan to attend.

Kennel Club to hold meeting on Feb. 8
ESCANABA — The Bay de Noc Kennel Club will hold its next general meeting on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Kennel Club building at 6687 N.75 Dr. Escanaba just north of the Hannahville Ice and Turf Complex, next to the baseball field. The public is welcome to attend.

ESCANABA –The Cedar Creek Country Band is scheduled to perform live Friday, Feb. 2 at the AMVETS Hall in Escanaba from 7 to 11 p.m. A donation will be accepted at the door. All are welcome.

Taco Tuesday hosted by Legion Post 71 returns
GLADSTONE — American Legion Post 71 welcomes the public to Taco Tuesday. The meal is served from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. each week at the Gladstone Legion Hall, 802 Delta Ave. Both hard and soft tacos are available, along with nachos and nachos supreme.
