Stamp and Coin Club to hold meeting Jan. 8
ESCANABA — The Bay de Noc Stamp and Coin Club will meet on Monday, Jan. 8 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting is held in the Joseph Heirman Building room 961 at Bay College in Escanaba. Sons of American Legion meeting Jan. 11
GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Sons of the American Legion will host a meeting on Thursday, Jan. 11 at 7: 30 p.m. at the Sons of the American Legion building located at 802 Delta Ave. in Gladstone.
If you are a male descendant of a veteran who served in the time of war or conflict, you are eligible for membership.

Immanuel Lutheran Lenten breakfast returns
ESCANABA — The annual Lenten breakfast and musical program at Immanuel Lutheran Church, located at 600 South Lincoln Road in Escanaba, will be held Saturday, Feb. 3 from 9:15 a.m. with the program to follow at 10 a.m. The theme for this year’s program is “Listen, God is Calling.”
This year the musical program includes the Immanuel choir under the direction of Ray Miller and guest soloists. Favorite hymns will be sung by the congregation. Pastor Judy Kincaid will be giving the Lenten message.
Seating for the breakfast is limited to 200; program seating is unlimited. Please call for your breakfast reservation by Jan. 29 to 786-6771 or 233-1857. Nursery care will be provided upon request.
A free will donation for the breakfast and musical program will be received at the program. The Immanuel Lutheran Church Women will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Delta County Cancer Alliance.

Day Services seeks printed materials
ESCANABA — Community Action Agency Adult Day Services, formerly Perspectives Adult Care Center is in need of your old greeting cards, calendars, and magazines to be used in different activities.
The pictures will be used to make notepads, bookmarks, and daily place mats. Cards do not have to be taken apart as they will be incorporated into an activity.
Items may be dropped off at Community Action Adult Day Services, located at the Gary Abrahamson Jr. Memory Care Center, 2635 1st Ave. S. in Escanaba (past West Highland, the last building on the left behind Bishop Noa Home) or at any senior center in the Delta County area.

GLADSTONE — The Memorial United Methodist Clothes Closet is open each Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Gently used clothing is available for all. The church is located at 1920 Lake Shore Drive.
