Escanaba Robomos Pasta Dinner Fundraiser

ESCANABA — Join the Escanaba robotics team at their annual Robomos pasta dinner fundraiser. It is being held Saturday, Dec. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. There is a fee to attend. Their famous made from scratch sauce, garlic bread, meatballs, salad, and homemade desserts will be served. Takeouts are available. The event will feature 50/50 raffles, along with other prize giveaways. Tickets can be purchased at the door, by contacting any EHS robotics member or by contacting or stopping by the EHS office during regular business hours. Come out and support your Escanaba Robomos!

American Legion Post #82 meets tomorrow

ESCANABA — The Cloverland American Legion post will meet Tuesday, December 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Purple Heart building 1202 Sheridan Road. Refreshment after the meeting.

Breaking Bread meets Tuesday at Jack’s

RAPID RIVER — Breaking Bread takes place at Jack’s Restaurant in Rapid River on Tuesday, Dec. 5 beginning at 6 p.m. A meal will be served at 6 p.m. followed by a discussion on who Jesus is as we live out our lives here in this time and place. Christmas in Nahma event on Dec. 10

NAHMA — A Christmas Craft show will be held on Sunday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Nahma Township Hall. There will be a variety of vendors and lunch will be available, served by the Isabella Community Hall Committee.

This event is sponsored by the Nahma Township Business and Community Association.

Legion hosts breakfast

RAPID RIVER –The Rapid River Legion Post 301 Hall is holding an “All-You-Can-Eat” breakfast on Sunday, Dec. 10 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. There is a fee to attend the luncheon. The Legion thanks you for past and future support.

Bay de Noc Kennel Club meets on Dec. 14

ESCANABA — The Bay de Noc Kennel Club will hold its next general meeting on Thursday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. at the kennel club building at 6687 N.75 Dr. Escanaba, just north of the Wells Sports Complex, next to the baseball field. The public is welcome to attend.

GLADSTONE — The next Friends of Delta Area Transit Authority (DATA) meeting will be Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Escanaba Senior Center. ESCANABA — Delta County Veterans Council will hold its next regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the Purple Heart Building, 1202 Sheridan Road.

Taco Tuesday hosted by Legion Post 71 returns

GLADSTONE — American Legion Post 71 welcomes the public to Taco Tuesday serving from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. each week at the Gladstone Legion Hall, 802 Delta Ave. Both hard and soft tacos are available, along with nachos and nachos supreme.

Tai Chi class planned at Gladstone Senior Center
