Esky Township Fire Department receives appreciation plaque

The Escanaba Township Volunteer Fire Department received an appreciation plaque from the American Red Cross last week for helping install 260 smoke detectors in local resident’s homes. The project to install the over $5,000 worth of smoke detectors was in conjunction with National FIre Prevention Month held throughout October.
