TEMPE, Arizona — Callie Marie LaMarche graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University (ASU), Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering, in May with a degree in biomedical engineering and a business minor.

Callie’s senior capstone project included making a baby bottle for infants with feeding difficulties, such as cleft palate, Downs syndrome, or that were premature. She obtained funding through the New Venture Challenge at ASU, which included $10,000 in cash and $5,000 in services to make and market the bottle.

Currently, Callie is working at Sherwin Williams as a manager trainee.

Callie is the daughter of Scott (Jen) LaMarche of Escanaba and Amy (Larry) Bell, sister of Carly of Temecula, Calif., granddaughter of Don and Cindy LaMarche of Escanaba and Bob and Margaret Baker of Gladstone, and great-granddaughter of Joyce Viau of Escanaba and the late Lawrence Viau.
