TRENARY — Come and dance at the Trenary Community Building on Sunday, May 21, from 1 to 5 p.m. Music will be provided by Country Wheels. Everyone is welcome. Admission is $5, with a lunch donation of $3.

Rock Lions May

breakfast buffet

ROCK — The Rock Lions monthly third-Sunday, all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet will take place on Sunday, May 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rock Lions Club on Hwy. M-35 in Rock. The buffet includes eggs prepared to order, omelets, bacon, sausage, ham, hash brown potatoes, biscuits and sausage gravy, pancakes, French toast, English muffins, cereal, a variety of fruits, many dessert items, coffee, tea, milk and juice. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for ages six to 12, and children age five and under eat free.

The monthly breakfast is held at the Rock Lions Clubhouse. The facility is available for rent by calling Jerry at 356-6475. The Rock Lions Club is a non-profit service organization that provides funding for charitable organizations and local needs.

Nahma Historians to meet

NAHMA — The Nahma Township Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 23, at 7 p.m. at the Nahma Township Hall. The calendar of summer events will be discussed. A date will be set for the cleaning/organization of the museum. A sign-up sheet will be available for working at the museum.

The museum will be open on Saturdays, during the month of July and August, from 1 to 4 p.m. It will also be open by appointment.

Spring card party

Saturday May 20

ISABELLA — The Isabella Community Hall will hold its annual spring card party on Saturday, May 20 at 7 p.m. A $5 fee includes lunch, prizes for high/low, chances at 50/50 and basket raffle. All proceeds and donations benefit the ongoing restoration projects for the Isabella Community Hall.

book signing

ESCANABA — Kenneth Bloom, of Escanaba, will hold a book signing at Stones on Saturday, May 20, from 9 to 11 a.m. He has four books that have been published, and all will be available for sale at the signing.

Republican Party

holds meeting

ESCANABA — The Delta County Republican Party will be holding its regular monthly meeting on tonight at 7 p.m. at Bay de Noc Community College in room 902 of the Joseph Heirman University Center. The general public is welcome.

Spring Feast to be

held in Gladstone

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Area Schools Indian Education Program will hold its annual spring feast on Sunday, May 21. The annual potluck dinner also honors the graduating class of 2017. The feast is held from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Jones Junior High cafeteria, located on 10th Street. The entrance is next to the Gladstone Library. This will be a potluck dinner. Bring a dish to pass. Giveaways, and drumming will be available. The public is welcome.

Eagles serve breakfast

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles 1088 will be serving Sunday breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 21 at the Eagles Hall at 608 Ludington St.

Menu items will include scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, toast, hash browns, pancakes, French toast, coffee, milk, orange juice and more.

Cost of the breakfast is $7 for adults and children five to twelve are $3. Public is welcome to attend.
