AAUW observe women’s history

The American Associate of University Women (AAUW) members, and their guests, will meet on March 21 at 7 p.m. at the Delta County HIstorical Society Museum. In observance of women’s history, AAUW member and historical society archivist Karen Lindquist, pictured at left, will discuss and present a power point program that highlights area females who contributed to the advancement of women. Reservations for the evening may be made by calling 786-3415 before March 19. Coffee and dessert will be provided. AAUW was established in 1881 and is open to men and women holding an associate’s degree or higher, including an RN degree. Information regarding the AAUW may be obtained by calling 474-6545.
