A New Year, A New You
Senior Health Fair
ESCANABA — The community is invited to attend the “A New Year, A New You” Senior Health Fair to be held: Friday, Jan. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon at North Woods Place Senior Living, 501 S. Lincoln Rd., Escanaba.
The health fair will have over 20 businesses and agencies on site to answer senior/aging related questions, provide demonstrations and to engage visitors in many activities such as cold laser therapy, bone density testing, holistic health, power of attorney venues, and anxiety reduction techniques.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to participate in and or observe two yoga sessions. The first is chair yoga scheduled from 10:30 to 11 a.m. and the second is laughter yoga scheduled for 11:15 to 11:35 a.m
There will also be great door prizes, give-a-ways and refreshments. This event is being sponsored by North Woods Place Senior Living and Miracle Ear and is free to the public.

Relic Riders meet
RAPID RIVER –The Rapid River Relic Riders Snowmobile Club will meet on Wednesday Jan. 11 at the Lion’s Club on Main St. in Rapid River at 6:30 p.m to finalize plans for the Snowmobile Show and Swap, which will be held on Saturday, Jan 28.

ESCANABA — The Bay de Noc Kennel Club will hold its next general meeting on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Kennel Club Building at 6687 N.75 Dr. Escanaba, located just north of the Wells Sports Complex. The public is welcome to attend.
