A Night with Dean and Don at the Island Resort

HARRIS — Crooners and comedians alike will have the chance to be entertained by the two of the industry’s best during “A Night with Dean and Don” at the Island Resort and Casino Showroom Oct. 13. The show will begin at 8 p.m.

The performance, which will feature Dean Martin impersonator Robert Cabella and Don Rickles impersonator Michael Walter, will have audiences taken back to the “good old days of Vegas.”

Dean Martin was an American singer, actor, comedian, and film producer. Known as one of the most popular and enduring American entertainers of the mid-20th century, Martin was nicknamed the “King of Cool” for his charisma and self-assurance.

He was a member of the crooner group “The Rat Pack,” and hosted the television variety program “The Dean Martin Show” and “The Dean Martin Celebrity Roast.”

Martin is also famous for his crooning voice, which awarded him dozens of hit singles such as “Memories are Made of This,” “That’s Amore,” and “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head?”

Don Rickles, who passed away in April, was an American stand-up comedian, actor, and author.
