A Taste of the North
ESCANABA — The Wells Lions Club is putting on a craft beer, wine and food festival fundraiser for the club. The club supports more than 25 local charities, including the Salvation Army, St. Vincent DePaul, U.P. Honor Flight, and the Delta County Cancer Alliance to name a few. They also build wheelchair ramps at no cost to the recipient and offer free eyeglass exams for people in need.
The $35 ticket comes with 15 “sample tickets” for you to redeem from some of the areas most popular craft beer brewers and wineries. Breweries include Upper Hand, Bell’s, Ore Dock, Keweenaw Brewing Co. and more. Vistit www.wellslionsclub.com for the complete list. The ticket also includes a custom made glass mug.
Food will be available for purchase from Andys Diner, Bobaloons, Dobbers Pasties, Hereford & Hops and Viaus Market.
Entertainment will include a bonfire, hay wagon rides, yard games, putting contest, 50/50 drawings and live music featuring OZ.
Contest winners for favorite beverage and favorite food will receive $500, voted on by the people. Whoever dresses up in the best “Taste of the North” costume will win $500!

Must be 21 to attend. Data transportation offered free of charge.
This event will be held rain or shine.
