ESCANABA — Sunday worship begins at 10 a.m. Pastor is David Shaffer.

ESCANABA — Sunday worship services will take place at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., and nursery is available for both services. A variety of children and adult discipleship groups are offered in both small and large group settings with specific needs in mind. “Connections” fellowship will be held immediately after each service.

Men’s Bible study gathers Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the church. Christian men’s fellowship coffee hour follows at 8:15 p.m. at Culver’s.

Wednesday summer ministries will be at Besse Park in Escanaba at 6:30 p.m. Hot dogs and chips will be provided. Bring a dish to pass if you like. Youth (grades 7th-12th) will continue to meet at New Life from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Adult Bible study will continue to meet from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. in room 13. Nursery will not be available on Wednesday nights during the summer but will resume in the fall.

Celebrate Recovery is on Thursday, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for fellowship. The meeting starts at 7 p.m.

The men’s breakfast is held on the last Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. at the church.

ESCANABA — Sunday morning prayer starts at 8 a.m., followed by fellowship until 9:30 a.m. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:30 a.m. with two classes for adults, “Fundamentals of the Faith” and “Love or Die.” Younger children meet for “Generations of Grace.” Pre-worship prayer and meditation begins at 10:30 a.m. The worship service follows at 10:45 a.m. Nursery is available.

Kids for Truth Family Ministry meets Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The program is for preschool children up to sixth grade. Transportation is available.


GLADSTONE — Worship service will be held 10 a.m. by the large pavilion in Van Cleve Park for Church in the Park. Fellowship time will take place at 10:30 a.m., and Grace Kids will meet at 11 a.m. for children in nursery through fifth grade.

BARK RIVER — Sunday school this week begins at 10 a.m., followed by the worship hour at 11 a.m. All are welcome. Nursery is provided through age two. ESCANABA — Summer worship will take place at 9:30 a.m. Worship will be held in the downstairs fellowship hall while the ceiling in the church sanctuary is being fixed. Coffee fellowship and goodies are at 10:30 a.m. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday. All are welcome.

The sign-up for the food tent for the Waterfront Art Festival is now in the lobby, and help is needed with workers as well as donations of baked goods to sell. Proceeds will go to mission areas.
