Gladstone Summer Concert Series in full swing

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Summer Concert Series is in full swing, but there’s stil tme to see hot local acts this summer.

The concerts are held at Van Cleve Park in Gladstone every Thursday at 7 p.m. from mid-June through mid-August. The series kicked off with The Cadillacs, an old-time rock ‘n’ roll group, on June 21, and continued with Hozz, an acoustic group that plays music from the ’60s through the ’90s, on June 28.

Upcoming groups include classic rock group Jam Band on July 5, country band Angels and Outlaws on July 12, The BearWalkers on July 19, acoustic musician Derrell Syria on July 26, rock ‘n’ roll musician Rob Nada on Aug. 2, and cover and dance group Cherrie Bombs on Aug. 9.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to the park for the concerts.
