ESCANABA — Sunday worship begins at 10 a.m. Pastor is David Shaffer.

ESCANABA — Sunday morning worship services will be held at 9 a.m. and 10:30 am. Nursery is available for both services. The church offers a variety of children and adult discipleship groups in both small and large group settings with specific needs in mind. “Connections” fellowship is held immediately following each service.

Men’s Bible study gathers on Monday at 6:30 p.m at the church. Christian men’s fellowship coffee hour follows at 8:15 p.m. at Culver’s. MOPS (Moms of Preschoolers) meet the first and third Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. and the third Friday of the month at 10:30 a.m. at the church.

On Sunday, Feb. 18, Bruce Van Natta will speak about his riveting life-and-death ordeal that encourages everyone to deal with their eternal destiny as he recounts the moments after a logging truck fell on him. Van Natta will speak at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

BARK RIVER — Sunday school for all ages meets at 10 a.m. Worship will take place at 11 a.m.

HYDE/POWERS — St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hyde will observe the Last Sunday in Epiphany at its 8:30 a.m. Sunday worship service. Pastor Ronald Zindler will preach on the gospel reading for the day, Mark 9: 2-9 and the great blessings that come to those who know Jesus as the glorious Son of God.
